Position Overview

The Manager, Product Marketing will have a strong understanding of our market, customers, competitors and industry trends. He/she will use that knowledge to identify and research key industry, creating compelling go-to-market plans and competitive differentiation. In conjunction with the product marketing team and product management, he/she will translate market re-search into future CAS strategic positioning, and product direction. The position requires an individual who can be a thought leader, spokesman and evangelist for CAS. He/she will need to be recognized as an industry expert with significant exposure to the CPG industry either directly or through experience in offering services to the CPG industry. He/she will have the ability to develop strong relationships internally, as well as, dialogue with industry analysts, practitioners and senior level industry executives. An individual with a strong ability to recognize strategic trends and direction and develop them into viable business oppor-tunities will be successful in this role. Up to 25% international travel should be expected

Job Related Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

• Develop plans to understand industry trends, business opportunities, the competitive landscape, gather market requirements and closely monitor industry activities.
• Working with the product management team, with his/her insights from a market per-spective, he/she will assist with the prioritization of product needs.
• Provide support in understanding competitive pricing and recommended CAS pricing on a global basis.

Positioning and Messaging

• He/she will closely participate in the preparation and dissemination of all materials re-lated to product including
  • Product vision and strategy statements
  • Product Roadmaps
  • Statements of direction
  • Product positioning
• The demonstration of thought leadership through industry events, relevant industry white papers and other external communications will be a key component of his/her re-sponsibilities.

Go-To-Market Strategy

• Through a thorough understanding of the Consumer Goods (CG) industry, specifically the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) segment, he/she will look to understand the key emerging trends that continue to position CAS as the thought leader in providing solu-tions and services to this industry.
• He/she will articulate those trends in the form of business case justifications, including relevant value propositions and strategic fit, complete competitive assessment of the market, and the business model including extensive financial analysis.

Sales & Marketing Enablement

• He/she will work closely with sales to support the customer acquisition process through the delivery of sales related collateral, including sales kits, product positioning, presenta-tions, ROI analysis, sales training, competitive assessments and pricing.
• He/she will work closely with corporate marketing to deliver product related content on all marketing initiatives.

Key Skills and Expertise

• A strong understanding of the CG marketplace and ability to understand future industry trends.
• Experience in a product marketing, relevant industry research or consulting role
• He/she will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Displays initiative and self-motivation and helps promote these qualities within the prod-uct marketing department.

Job Related Responsibilities

Gather Business Requirements – Responsible for documenting customer’s as-is and to-be business processes and requirements. Must identify and document gaps between a customer’s requirements and the CPWerx application. Design – Responsible for developing design documents that map a customer’s business processes and requirements to the CPWerx application. Documents must identify how the application is to be configured and customized. Consulting – Responsible for giving customers advice around industry best practices and the functionality of CPWerx. Must perform various project consulting tasks as assigned, including some project management, testing, and quality assurance activities. Must provide leadership and guidance to customers, as well as CAS project team members. Certification – Required to take and pass one of the CPWerx Business Certification Tests within 12 months of being hired. Utilization – Responsible for maintaining a personal utilization goal of 80%.

Job Related Responsibilities

Ensures that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. Manage the scope of the projects to include only what has been agreed to in the applicable Statement of Work and/or Change Request documents. Manage the distribution of tasks and work activities of all project team members (with coordination of customer project manager for customer resources and customer tasks). Act as a liaison between CAS and the customer. Prepare project status reports and budget reconciliation. Ensure that time entry for the project team is entered accurately and on-time. Responsible for maintaining a personal utilization goal of 65%.

Wen suchen wir?

Im Rahmen der Abschlussarbeit soll eine Schlüsselwortbasierte Testskript Sprache für unser schon vorhandenes Silverlight Automation Framework definiert und entwickelt werden (Keyword driven approach). Die entwickelte Sprache soll Testplattformunabhängig und somit auch für unsere Mobile Automation Lösung eingesetzt werden können. Hauptaugenmerk ist die Vereinfachung der vorhandenen Testsprache bezüglich einer Sprachunabhängigkeit sowie Testdatenunabhängigkeit. Weiterhin ist eine Abstraktion vom Testobjekt notwendig um eine einfache leicht zu erlernende Sprache zu entwickeln. Zur Hilfe kann ein intern verwendetes Modellierungstool genommen werden. Ein Generator soll dann die von der bestehenden Execution Engine benötigten Testskripte generieren.

Die Abschlussarbeit umfasst u.a.:
• Einarbeitung in die CAS Silverlight Test Automation
• Erstellung einer spezifischen Object Map
• Definition und Entwicklung der Schlüsselwort basierten Testskript Sprache
• Konzeption und Erstellung eines Testskript Generators zur Umwandlung der Schlüsselwort basierten Test in lauffähige CAS Silverlight Test Automation Testskripte
